NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day

This option will show `NASA's astronomy picture of the day <https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html>`_ as a fullscreen mode.

There is a checkbox to enable using a high-resolution image (when available) that's often much better quality.

.. warning::
   
   The high-resolution images are often very large in both disk size and pixel size and may take a bit longer to download and show up. Only recommended for very large resolution displays.

   | NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day is occasionally not an image and may instead be a video, animation, etc.
   | On these cases LumoTray will attempt to use the previously available image.
