NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day

This option will set your desktop wallpaper to the current picture featured on NASA’s astronomy picture of the day website.

There is a checkbox to enable using a high-resolution image (when available) that’s often much better quality.

Warning

The high-resolution images are often very large in both disk size and pixel size and may take a bit longer to download and be set as background. Only recommended for very large resolution displays.

Note

NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day is occasionally not an image and may instead be a video, animation, etc.
On these cases LumoTray will attempt to use the previously available image.
